Contribute to the Campaign
Incumbent Texas judges must periodically stand for re-election. If opposed, the election process is partisan and an incumbent’s race can be expensive. Accordingly, I welcome financial support of my campaign within the limitations imposed by Texas law. I have voluntarily elected to comply with the limitations of the Judicial Campaign Fairness Act. Your generous contribution in support of my campaign will be put to good use in offsetting qualifying campaign and officeholder expenses. My commitment to Texans is that decisions I make as a Justice of the Fifth Court of Appeals will never be influenced in any way by the fact I have received a campaign contribution.
In order to ensure compliance with campaign finance laws, it is necessary that I have certain information about contributors. Please complete the form below.
A $5,000 contribution limit is placed on an individual/family in an election cycle. A $30,000 contribution limit is placed on all contributions from members of a law firm, including contributions by their spouses and minor children. Any lawyer or other employee is considered a member of a law firm. Every firm member’s contribution counts toward the $30,000 contribution limit on the firm. A contribution by the spouse or minor child of an individual is considered to be a contribution by the individual. PAC contributions are welcomed. We cannot accept corporate contributions.
